Hi peeps

Hotel is provisionally booked ,just waiting for them to get back to me with payment details.
I think the best way to do this ,so that i dont get involved with your money,is for you to contact hotel direct and pay by credit card etc but will keep you informed when they get back to me.
Right 18 cars are catching the ferry friday evening ,IF IAIN GETS IT SORTED
17 have got rooms booked,Lord Lucan has made his own arrangements.
with an Islander,thinks he is going to get cheap accomadation eh Rossco
Druddle will be joining us on the saturday.

I have spoken to (Dom's friend's) Red Funnel

Details are:
Outbound on 27th Sept from Southampton to East Cowes @1940

Inbound on 29th E.Cowes to So'ton @1805

I have to write to the centre manager to request a discount off the Std fair of £49

If we were to return on the 1705 ferry std rate would be £55
I have not booked anything yet. I will post the reference no. you need to get the discount when I have eveything sorted

I don't see a problem if anyone wanted to try for an earlier ferry on the way back. (Probably depends on haw busy they are, though we will have off peek tickets!!!!)

Was the best nite I have had in ages, my weird mate got mashed and decided he would pull every minger in the club, he suceeded until he stood in the middle of the dance floor shouting ' I love America' god knows why. Rosco was not too impressed !! He woke me up in the morning with the hairdryer, as he was attempting to dry the mattress, must have been pretty bad to have pissed the bed !! Needless to say i havent seen him for a while !!! Thank god we are not going back to the Ocean hotel, I for one wouldnt want room 41.

All bookings need to be paid for in advance of travel.

I think the 1940 outbound and 1705 back would be the best bet as some of you have small children or a long drive!!!

not done it yet. have secured the friday off from work though, so that's step one for me!

£33 per person per night.... thats a lot more than last year... is this hotel a lot better???

i do not think it is any more than last year i think its about the same,any way its £2 per person cheaper than the hotel i had previously booked for this year

Edited to say i have just checked and it was £59 last year so its only £4 more which is not alot and this hotel has a pool and other facilitys,plus a bigger car park so we dont have to have a car park attendant

Mate dont worry about swimming gear just keep Greenpeace away. When they see me next to the pool they will be bunging buckets of water over me and trying to roll me back in the water

Druddle, with you on the swimming pool thing! thought I'd like to see greenpeace try and get me into the water when I don't want to swim. Sharks tend to bit quite a lot!

On a more serious note. Just booked my place on the Ferry. I'm now very excited. Bring it on!
