FYI Goodwood do allow passengers and usually at the RSOC days they allow passengers in the back. It is truly an excellent track. Will only be there as spectators this time though due to illness

Scott T. I believe there are spaces left as we have just booked over the week-end to go. It is not actually an official RSOC day, the guy who organises this event - Dave Paul - is a member of the club and an enthusiast - will see if i can get his number or address for this afternoon.

Im at a loose end on Saturday, is it any good for spectating as I wouldnt mind coming along to watch. I dont know anything else about it so if its good for spectating can anybody turn up ? is it O.K. to bring a ten year old, what are times & which entrance do you use. Im a member of GRRC so should be able to get in. Any advice would be appreciated, I kind of fancy watching a track day prior to having a go.

Turn of the A27 at the Chichester/Sainsbury's roundabout. Follow signs for Goodwood and go in the Airport Main entrance. Drive through the tunnel and park up in the pit area (all be it a 1950's style pit area).
I assume it's as per usual and free to spectate, with the obligatory van selling Snot Burgers....

Racing usually starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm (think they're on summer racing times now cos is 4pm in winter). It's free to get in, plenty of spectating spaces as you can walk round the whole track if you like - good viewing at St Mary's round the back. Can take kids if well behaved and under control (!).

So, who was actually there. I got there around 12:30 and stayed till 2:00. Sorry I didn't speak to any of you but it was a bit cold and those who saw me (blue swrt fleece jacket) would have noticed that I had my wife and little girl with me and they don't like the cold to much.
Nice to see a few impreza's go out.
I may see some of you tomorrow if I can make the Portsmouth meet.
Kev :-)

I was there, along with Scott from the Eastbourne Massive.
Thanks to Rosco for the ride in the Evo and nice to see Jason again also - thanks for your tweaking tips Jason - nudge nudge! Alaso nice to see Jo and Dave (get completely well soon).
I haven't seen it so busy before at one of Dave Paul's do's - I'm not surprised we missed unfamiliar faces - perhaps we need a Subaru rendezvous point?
Where were you Dyney?

Rosco, that is one awesome Evo you have there !
My misses even commented that she liked it (and that's saying something).
Did you have a little tangle with that yellow sierra on your first session after lunch? On the last lap you came right up beside him on the start/finish straight, then when you came around to come in you where well spaced apart and crawling along.

Arrived at 11:00, left at 17:00
Had a great day out, was a bit cold in the morning but things seemed to warm up in the afternoon, both on an off the track.
Have you ordered that TEK2 yet Keith ??
Rosco... hope your brakes on the EVO are O.K, I should think there bedded in well now !!!!
See you all at the next one......
