Any one know if a classic up-pipe will fit a bugeye WRX. I know about the EGT sensor not fitting and it will be getting remapped immediately afterwards anyway, just need to confirm it is physically the right size and bolt hole configuration
I just need to get rid of the catted one before getting the headers ported

Cheers Mikee, Harvey has answered in another thread so I have now bought one. Rich has said he can do the porting for me, so I'm just waiting to get my holiday out of the way and then it'll be in for a lot of work prior to a remap
Should be able to keep up with the pace car then

I will have some lightweight seats as well and my holiday has meant I've shed a pound or 2, so it should be close
Maybe next year once I get the new turbo in

I'm, a bit late to reply, but yes any OE uppipe will fit. The newage WRX has a small metallic cat in it, so obviously you won't want that one

It's worth removing the shields off the uppipe you buy, to inspect it - They're quite common for splitting around the flexi-joint and blowing.
The shields are only tack welded on, so fairly easy to remove.
Give me a shout when you're ready
