Official Monthly Bracknell meet - first one on Thu 28th March
Hi de hi campers
After running a small meet every fortnight (or there abouts) at various locations around Bracknell, myself and Scott W have (along with discussions with Alex) sorted out a Scoobynet monthly meeting.
It will be on the last Thursday of every month, to be held at the Crispin Pub in Ascot. There is a map here of where it is. If you look at the W of Woodside, immediately left of it is the A332 (in pink). The other side of the A332 from the "W" is where the pub is.
The first date we will run this official meet will be Thursday 28th March (day before Good Friday). They do very nice food (Scott will advise of the puddings
) and we have negotiated a 25% discount for people who want to eat. Unfortunately they cannot give discounts on the drinks.
So if you are interested in coming, then the more the merrier. We usually get 15-20 people there, so lets try and get loads more people there for the first official one.
Cheers
Dave

Sorry about that Neil, its just the manager approached us and had our name from the last meet. Its nothing too formal, just that we get the discount, an area of the pub and he doesnt mind.
Soz mate. Dave.

No worries mate - I was only kidding

Anyhows - below is posted on behalf of Scott W as hes a complete muppet and forgot his password
"Just following on from Dave's post, the manager (Pete) was definitely up for a meet, and will section part of the pub off for us, and therefore it would be rude not to take him up on the offer.
As for me knowing about the puddings, never!!

So where are you big eaters out there Plantie, Adrian, Spider, etc...? However, with the 25% discount on that nice food, I'll be there at the head of the queue so you'll have to wait behind me!

Well you know - now that I've got my password back I can post away!! I've been lost without my password for almost a week!
However, where is everybody else? Spider, etc??
We want to make this meet popular, and obviously justify the discount on the food, so we need to get as many faces as possible.
