Great news

Although a bit of a shame, if you were scraping it I'd have had your seats

I'm torn between some recaros that will match my rears, or STI seats, but I'd need a full set of STIs. TBH though I'm not really looking until Christmas as I'm pretty much out of the country until then

ok lads......guess what....you guess right

its happening again.
could still be an airlock but i havent a clue.

Ive just driven the car pretty hard today, and when driving hard the temp gauge is fine, however when at a stop you slowly see the gauge rise and i even put the heaters on when i was stopped and it was blowing cold air ----what does this mean?

now regards getting rid of this airlock, i could take it back to hughberry but thats means anther 15 mile journey. or i could try at home but dont really wana cause a mess on the driveway etc
would i take off the rad cap by the turbo and switch the car on and wait for all bubbles to go?

take it back to hughberry mate . it will be the better option . can be very messy and can take ages if u know not what u are doin .

its a bit more than just taking off the cap , but dont do it while its hot or u will get a face full of coolant ,

Agree with Mags, I know its a PITA. Have you checked you're levels to see if they've dropped at all. If it's cleared and comes back it could be something else causing it and better to find out now rather than when the block melts
