More stable pressures, less leakage

Worth the extra quid per tyre? or is it just another pointless (and therefore less prioritised) mod....

For a quid I'd be doing it for sure

Where are you getting it done as I wouldn't mind getting mine done as well

Nitrogen is less dense than air and therefore lighter. This reduces unsprung weight thus providing substantial handling benefits with nitro' fill proving an increasingly popular alternative to expensive coilovers.
The second, and greatest, improvement will be to acceleration where the reduction in rotational mass will offer reductions in 0-60 times equivalent to an increase of 150 bhp. Other drivers wont know what hit them!
You could really go crazy and try the latest helium fill, almost like the car is floating over the road.......

......or you could go with Jons explanation

Group buy on turbonators anyone?

How about some electronic dump valves too, and maybe an exhaust whistler

We used it in aircraft tyres coz it reduces the risk of pressure fluctuations and explosive mixes of oxygen when the tyres got hot, but quite frankly for most people driving in most situations on most roads it will do bugber all. Track racing you may get benefits but I doubt if you would get much "real" benefit on the road. Up to you really.

What about a "bong compressor", super skunk smoke filled tyres..........you can suck out some of the air from the valves if you fancy a little buzz.

Cheers all..... mate of mine had it done to her BMW yesterday and she swears she can feel the car is 'like floating on air'.... just wanted some ammo so that I could point and laugh at her....

Smug satisfaction is great ain't it....
