Hi.
I live near St Ives and having just bought a 93WRX I was looking for some owners in the Cambridge area to give me the lowdown on Scooby ownership. I'd like to roll up to the Fen Ditton meet 2moro if thats ok with you guys. Is the Plough easy to find and what time were you thinking of meeting?
Cheers

Hi folks are planning to meet at 12 ish fen ditton from st ives come along the A14 past the A10 juntion I think it is the next junction it is signposted fen ditton and horingsea possibly if you go up the slip at the t-junction with the traffic lights at the top turn right fen ditton is about 1mile.
If you miss this turn off keep going on the A14 until the Quy/airport junction follow the signs for cambridge after about 3/4 mile there is a turn off to the right it may be signposted fen ditton its a country road fen ditton is about 2 miles along that road when you come to the crossroads you need to turn left the plough isn't very far within 1/2mile I not exactly sure myself as it a while since I was last in the area.
Hopefully somebody who knows the area will post us some good directions if not get there early it is only a little village so just drive around we'll soon find it.

John was almost right! If you do pass the first Fen Ditton turnoff and come off at the airport junction, take country road as John described (which takes you back in the direction you've just come along on the A14), but at the cross road go straight across (into High Street). Go down to war memorial and bear right into Green Lane. After about 1/4 mile you'll come to The Plough on your left.
If you come off the A14 at the first Fen Ditton turn off (the junction after the A10 junction), go up to lights and turn right. Drive towards Fen Ditton and after about 1 mile enter village. When you see the Blue Lion pub on your left, turn right into High Street. Then follow route as above.
See you all there at midday (our cars are 4WD so snow and ice shouldn't be a problem!!).

Thanks to all for coming to our little gathering today. Andy - hope you get your electrical problem sorted; Stan - hope your dreams (AVO or Leda) come true; John - now you've discovered where the pub is, see you at the next meet; Rob - hope your works party went well (but what about that giant snow ball on the A14!!).
Happy Christmas and see you in the new year.
