I have got a W reg silver MY00 turbo saloon with scoobysport backbox, otherwise standard. I also have an old style black and white SIDC sticker above my tax disc and a new style oval SIDC sticker in the top center of the back window.

I live in margate-the land of the bucket & spade!! Am i the only person down here that logs on to Scoobynet?? I read a lot of threads, where people are from west/north kent which i know isn't a million miles away. But it would be nice to here from anyone down this way or comes down here!

I'm in West Kent, (Medway area) I'm sure I've seen posts from people from down your way...would be nice to get some sort of summer meet for the East/West side crew (There's me thinking about summer already ) HOW dirty is my car after a run last night I hate winter!

I did go to a gathering in May this year in a nice country pub in Canterbury, but have not heard anything else about any more..

Hi Sean, have I seen about? I know of about half a dozen Scoobs around Thanet (inc. Nito!), but everyone seems to keep a low profile...Hard to get a smile, let alone a wave if you know what I mean! What do you drive?

Yeah, pretty regularly.

We try and pop out on a Thursday night for a meet somewhere to swap BS and then a little drive sometimes

Xmas it's always harder to arrange something but if you guys are up for it....?

Cool, I'll have a word with everyone for next Thursday, see what can be done.

We usually meet at a Beefeater just off J10 M20, it's not a great pub but you can sit by the window and keep an eye on the cars

I'm not sure of a venue in Canterbury, maybe Westgate Towers(next to Barretts Subaru) there's a car park and a Wetherspoons opposite.
Or possibly Halfords/Safeways Wincheap then move on from there?

The car park opposite the Wetherspoons is very small and gets very busy. If you are thinking of a meet before Xmas, I think thursdays are also late night shopping in Canterbury so a larger car park might be better.

Living in Thanet really is the **** end of nowhere isn't it! I've asked Nito if he fancies a beer thursday but no reply as yet (he's a surrey boy nowadays...!)

I think Thursdays clear so may well be up for a beer - haven't been to a meet since the summer Chillenden ones.
