Big Sussex Bentley Meet - 2007 (Subaru/Jap event)
The www.sussexscoobies.co.uk are hoping to hold a large event in Sussex :
Event : Big Sussex Bentley Meet (BSBM)
Location : Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum
Date : Sunday 29th July 2007 (Currently provisional)
Bentley Wildfowl is a lovely location for a meet and they are very keen for us to drop in for an event.
The attraction has a Cafe, Shop, Small Motor museum with some very nice old cars, Small statley home, Model 'sit-on-and-ride' steam railway and of course the Wildfowl Reserve. This is great for the kids as they can buy food for the various breeds of ducks and feed them on the route round.
The SIDC (through Marcus) ran 2 events here back in 2000 & 2001 on the back of the Porsche club (although we out numbered them).
I hope to make this event a bigger and better version of those.
Reduced price entrance to Bentley will be provided, with the Adult price being reduced to £4.50 for £6.50 (not sure about kids but can confirm). This gets you parked inside the grounds (rather then the general car park) and also access to all atractions and facilities.
I hope some of you can come along.....and I hope I have chosen a date that doesn't clash too much with the many other evnets throughout Summer 2007.
