It's sooner than you think, a week Sunday. What are we going to do about the location situation? You can think of a place before then. I say 'you' 'cos I'm going to be in Coventry all day due to a parent's 50th birthday. And birthdays are rubbish.

Has anyone come up with a location yet?

If not how about going back to BA (WA 1)? It did have the over spill car park and was in slightly better condition than the last place (water dripping from the ceiling when you are eating is... interesting).

Just a suggestion as we don't seem to have anything yet and the meet is supposed to be this Sunday!

 

BattleAxes is good with me, what do the rest of you think. Alos what sort of time are we thinking about ?

If the Battle Axes pub is on, could we not book in advance and get a space set aside inside the conservatory? I (and a few others) had to sit ouside last time, and it was a 'touch' cold! plus we were spread all over, and never really mingled.

Just a thought.

The Battle Axes is near Letchmore Heath.

If you come down the A41, going straight past the Tby Carvery (where we had Watford II) and continue down that road past the McDonalds on the left. There is a parking area with a dumping prohibited sign about 100-200 yards after that there is a sign left for an Aerodrome, very shortly after that is the turn. If you miss there is a roundabout that you can turn left at.

If you made the turn follow the road until you come to a T-junction, turn left and about 400 yards later on your right is the Battle Axes.

We could all meet at the services at Bignalls Corner (M25/A1M) or Little Chef on A10 near Junc 25 or somewhere else "I'm easy" (My wife (Joan) will agree with that statement).
