Some of you know, some don't, but i'm absolutley useless with dates. Either I gave the wrong dates to True grip or they printed 'em wrong. And as we have a prior engagement on the 12th, looks like the 19th is going to be our next meet.

Same format as usual, meet around 12noon for some nosh and a natter. We are wives/girlfriend/kids friendly so bring them along.

SimonH...THE STAR INN IS ON THE A370 BETWEEN BRISTOL AND WESTON SUPER MARE..KENT..

 

There was mention of the Avon Police giving us a chat first at Tiley's. Is this still happening on the 12th, moved also to the 19th, or not happening at all now?

'fraid I'm already occupied on the 19th so see you all in Sept unless the police talk is as before.

Yep, as Traceys says, The A&S training at Tileys is now on the 16th Sept. I've spoken to Tileys today and they are happy for us to use the back of the showroom as necesary. I'll post a thread seperatley when they(Police) have confirmed a time with me.

Have yet to attend a local meet as they are always on when I am busy, working or away.
However 19 Aug sounds good and wife will allow me the car (shes coming too).
So look forward to meeting up with fellow scooby owners.

I look forward to your comments re the Godspeed brakes Bob as I am booked in within the next two weeks for 335mm front and something for the rear which should compliment the 17 in Superlegerras. Then Tileys are going to have a go at fitting the Defi centre pod as they told me they did yours. At the same time a new clutch (under warranty hopefully), subject to final approval from Phil.

Ian I'll bring a copy of the article to the meet on Sunday as there will be plenty of Computer literate members there.

Please tell me what happens at these meets,
it seems you meet at the pub for lunch/ chat /drink then what? I have seen Exmoor mentioned is it a gentle drive or a serious thrash, I am a little resricted at the mo as Caroline is 8 months pregnant, not good with the firm suspension! I like the seats the way they are now! Also are children welcome?
One last thing I am a photographer so does any1 need a lensman?

The 19th is just going to be a meet/chat/grub etc. kids are most welcome as are wives/girlfriends(not both together though!, wives and girlfriends that is)
We do arrange the odd blast across Exmoor, but generally this is done outside of school holidays as the roads are a bit busy.

There is a Karting event coming up the end of Sept' if you're interested. See posting from Gizmo.
