Nabbed from Richard G's posts from an earlier meet in the year...
'Bit more info on where it is... From the A14 come off at the Fen Ditton turn-off towards Cambridge. After a couple of miles, in the centre of Fen Ditton, turn right (the Blue Lion pub will be on your left as you do so). Follow the road down for about 100 yards, then bear right at the War Memorial. Follow the twisty tiny road round for another 200 yds or so. There will be a sharp left, and then a bit further up the pub is on the left while the road continues round a bend to the right. Great venue...'

Hiya all!!
Just returned from hols and am raring to go! Gave the old Scoob a wash n' chammy today (after two weeks of bird poo; cats paws; and fall-out from solar flares - and being DBM they've all left their marks). Hope Scole was good couple of weeks ago. See you at The Plough this Thursday the 28th.

TOP (again!)
Just to say that i am looking forward to meeting all your "southerners" at The Plough on Thursday.
I hope that they do food, 'cos i am bound to be hungry. Weather should be a belter n'all!

Yes, they do food - pretty good choice (although service is a bit slow!). Should be plenty of room to sit outside by the River Cam (and get attacked by the mozzies!). Last meet we had 8 cars, which was best turn-out to date. Will the good weather bring even more Scoobs out? Pub has large car park so no probs with parking. People normally start arriving from 7.15 onwards. See you there.
Hello Puff - are you P1 lipped yet?

Good meet tonight! Enjoyed the food (once it arrived). Thanks for coming Boomer - hope everything works out. Congratulations to Richard (our soon-to-be inside man for GP tickets and yellow tee shirts!). Nice one, Richie - it does indeed look the dogs dangly bits!! See you all at the next one...

Nice to see you all last night, and thanks for making a Northerner (even though i live in the Midlands) welcome.
Sorry that i may have been a little quiet, but it is not very often that you get a tap on the shoulder (less than 4 hour earlier) to say that you are no longer required in your job after 19 years
Still, it's a great little (or should that be big) pub, hidden away at the end of a lane. I must remember to go for something a bit smaller than a mixed grill next time though
Cheers,
mb

Yep, good turn out, nice to see people again. Great place to chill out and enjoy the food (when it comes, and if you haven't already had a pub meal that day! ) I'll keep you up to date with Jordan developments... remember to cheer for them ('us' soon all being well! ) over the weekend!
'Ring of Cambridge' run organisation now in progress...
Boomer - sorry to hear about the job hope it all sorts itself out for the best soon...
Cheers
Richard
