Well, what a fantastic day and well worth the drive up from Kent. Thanks to all the staff at Tileys for making Wendy and I feel so welcome and thanks to Steve for the organisation.

Pig was great, WRX drives were great although they need more go , hospitality was second to none.

Special thanks to Dave for taking a look at my car.

If I buy another Scooby then Tileys will get my order cos they are a great bunch of people.

It was nice to see you, hope you had a good Journey home. Sorry but I only manage a quick chat just before you were going. I was none stop chatting to others trying to get them interested in the SIDC, brake kits, SS exhaust and so on. Also trying to eat all the pig in between. Tiley’s and the rest of us are always friendly and hospitable. I will give your regards to Dave he will appreciate it.

 

Yes, what a great day had by all, even the kids were amused. (Including me). Everybody was really friendly.

Got a quote (sort of) for that last P1, just got to convince the wife now.

Food was great, big crash outside (not caused by Bob) was entertaining.

New WRX was slow but good brakes and a smooth drive.

Here's to the next one.

Thanks to tileys for putting on a very enjoyable weekend. Special thanks to Bob for giving me a hand on both days. I think we must have put in around 10 hours! plus a fair bit of pig.

I have made a few CD's of the Pic's that I took at Tiley's. I also put a few small car movie files on, also a small lads section
I will put 3 disks behind reception tomorrow morning for those who require a look. There is also a screensaver with the pics if you require it. After viewing or saving the info on the disks please return them to Tileys for others to view.

Just to inform you all the members of the Tiley group where not involved in the crash. But did sweep up after
The crash was a taxi driver smelling the pig roast looking over and seeing 6-7 P1's all in a line. When he looked ahead again it was too late he hit the Ford escort into another car. There was a loud bang as all the windows popped out the escort. The escort did not have any windows after the prange.
Just so happens I took a snap. Please don't flame me for gory photo's...

The Taxi seems to have come off alot better than the Escort in that crash

 

Too right it did never even chipped the numberplate the Ford almost broke in half, but then thats Fords for you. Great how every window popped out though.
I'm out Friday night But will cut my drinking down to 10 pints or less.(I always say that)
Full breki Sat morning at about 08:00 should sort us out.
