How's about arranging a meet at the 'Lamb Inn' on the A259 between Bexhill and Eastbourne.

I tried to sort one of these out when I was in the RSOC and had all of 2 members show an interest.

Lets see if Scooby fans can show a bit more enthusiasm.

Could even arrange a drive along the lines of :
Lamb Inn - Little Common - Cooden Beach - Pevensey - Herstmonceux - Ninfield - Lamb Inn

 

Had a bit of interest at Bentley with regard to arranging a meet at 'The Lamb', from guy's in and around the Eastbourne area.

It was also suggested that it could be arranged on the back of the Pease Pottage meet should any of you guy's want a drive down one Sunday.

Nice to meet you at Bentley today. As I said to you theres no reason why we couldn't head down to Eastbourne instead of meeting at Pease Pottage...would give us a great excuse for an excellent drive . The Pease Pottage meet is usually the first Sunday of each month although I think the next one in July will clash with Goodwood.

See what sort of interest you can drum up locally around Eastbourne (hopefully more after today) and let us know when you fancy meeting up. Will try to make it.

Didn't see Scott at Bentley, but I did chat with some of the other locals. We all thought the Lamb at Hooe was a good idea - not too far for us old folk - we should be able to make it if we drive in shifts!

Sorry I didn't meet you at Bentley. I'm afraid I didn't get there until about 1:00pm as had the family and parents in tow.

If you went with Joni then I think I saw you leaving shortley after we arrived.

 

Yep, that was us - I just had to hear what all the excitiment was about the PPP, and I wasn't disappointed. I wound the window down, but didn't need to!

 

Scott, Sorry to have just missed you yesterday. There does seem to be a concensus on the Lamb idea. Your call.....

My MY01 should be delivered around the end of July so if the meet hasn't happened by then see you there.

Scott. Not a bad route indeed but how about adding Pevensey to Polegate up the A22 Dual carriageway , round the back of Hailsham and back through to Herstmonceux, etc ??

May be having a joint meet at the Lamb with a few Guy's from the Pease Pottage Meet coming down (yet to be confirmed).

So 1st July sounds like a good day to get this thing rolling.

Pease Pottage are meeting at 1pm so I guess we should be at the Lamb from 2pm onwards.

(Although I've got to be up at Gatwick for 4:50pm, so may delagate any Authority that I have - NONE!!!)

1st July meet with Pease Pottage Possie, at Pease Pottage. If we put in a good showing then they may return the favour and come down to Eastbourne the following month.

Looks like we are a bit thin on the ground for the 1st July meet.
So unless we get some numbers together between now and then, it looks like for this first attempt we'll have to knock it on the head.
