I'm at Le Mans that weekend too so would be up for the re-scheduled meet

Can't wait, only 16 days to go...

Planning a meet on the 16th of June should be a bad bway. Longer, better route, more driving, smaller groups, bigger grins, less incidents (JM ).

Gunna check with me M8 Dangerous but we will probable Lavendar Hill Garage way on. Then head north in groups like last time!

So to recap 23rd June 6.30 Start, large drive and a bite to eat afterwards

Good shout Dave, Quenby Bros use it as their "demonstration" road.
There's a good road from Stansted to Buntingford (possibility for the return leg.

Dave, we may do the run a couple of times in the evenin to look out for speed traps etc, I'll speak to you bout it laters.

As usual, Mr Scott J Davies has arranged a date and then is pissing off out of the country and leaving the organising to me...

The plan is to meet at South Mimms Service Station for a 06:30 start (we <B>WILL</B> be leaving on time this time). The route will consist of a 20 mile blat/cruise up the A1 where the fun will start.

There will be either 30 or 50 miles of great roads (depending on whether or not you do the whole route and also if the Little Chef I have in mind for chow is open at that time of day ), followed by the 20 mile drive back to South Mimms (which is the alternative food spot).

People may or may not then move on to Dave's place for a fill up and a coffee before going home.

Details and route still to be worked out but should be sorted by the day.

Should have been more specific - if you could drop me a note with the car you've got also so I can try and work out what types we've got coming (relative speeds etc).

Scott (messed about with RA) and Dangerous Dave (P1) are gonna go at the back and slowest at the front (led by slow old me again ).

The is only one service area, accessed via the roundabout. If your coming from Essex, just get off at J23 and go almost right round the rounabout to the service aera.
