At Markus’ suggestion/pleading I’ve agreed that I’ll organise the convoy down from Orpington to Tunbridge Wells then on to Bentley. Here we go:

0915 meet at the Esso garage in Pratts Bottom, for a 0930 departure to Tunbridge Wells. The garage can be found at:

I'm probably not going to be at Sainsburys, mainly as the flyers went out with 10:30 on them, so I want to make sure that no-one turns up at 10:30 finds the place closed and then goes home. Plus it means I'll bag the best place there!

 

I should add, if Kim does not mind, that when you come into the Sainsburys car park you want to head <B>right</B>, ie; go towards the homebase side of the carpark. Siply as it's less busy, plus where we met last year.

P.S. Is there a Jacobean meet prior to Bentley. I thought it might have been this Wed as its a month since the last one

 

Christian - not a clue how far from Swindon, my geography's terrible (no comment needed from anyone else on that please ), but am sure the drive down would be well worth it - can anyone else advise???

Rob and Hazel - haven't heard anything about the Jacobean meet. A few people have mentioned this but nothing's been organised that I know of - I'll make enquiries.

It's about 3 hours drive and aprox 122 miles from swidon, if that's Swindow in Swindon, and not Swindon in Staffordshire.

If you want to come you're more than welcome to.

Just ran the route through Autoroute, and it's 2 miles longer for me to join you guys at Sainsburys, Tunbridge Wells!

We think roughly in the region of 20-30 cars - but really can't say for sure. Could be more/less.

The footie or, no doubt GP, could be on and that'll be that

UPDATE : At the moment we have 7 cars leaving from the Esso garage at Pratts Bottom, and joining up with 2 at Sainsburys in Tunbridge Wells

They're only the people who've confirmed that they'll be at these places - highly possible that others will just turn up on the day (as was the case at the Jacobean meet on Wednesday). Plus we've got the Sussex crew coming down, and others who will meet us at Bentley (I hope)
