Cool

Im looking at setting up a reasonably regular Sunday Lunch meet in Essex, yes, this will be off the back of the SIDC

Im checking out venues around the countryside in the centre of the county this weekend and will post the venue soon.

I have a slight concern though at the number of regular Sunday meets cropping up in the South East. At present there is Canterbury on 2nd Sunday and Sandown on 4th Sunday. Im going to aim for the 1st Sunday, starting on 3rd June, venue permitting.

Question... Whos up for this, and, should we aim to start alternating some of these events?

James.

James,

I'd certainly appreciate another regular meet , though for the first one, worth bearing in mind the Herts meeting at Hatfield on the Saturday as it may be difficult for those of us with families to get two days off in a row. Unless of course you can find a decent child-friendly pub.

Karting event is all set for Mid-July.
Initial details have been sent via SIDC flyer, which you should receive soon

Sunday meets will definately take place in a Child Friendly environment. Im looking this weekend. Suggestions for areas in the centre of the county (Chelmsford - Witham - Dunmow - Maldon) are gratefully received.

Im aiming for the centre as most events to date, have all been in the South,

Will keep you all informed via this thread.

Cheers,

James.

Not been involved with these, as Thursday is generally not a good night for me and I was avoiding the B/S that arised before.

Assuming all that has been sorted out, I will try and make the 10th... will give me a good opportunity to canvass the Essex contingent.

Begs the question, What would people prefer?

Regular Thursday and Occasional Sunday

Regular Thursday and Regular Sunday

Regular Thursday Only

Regular Sunday Only

Let me know what you think?

Oh, and regards to the Missus Pete

Unbelievable,

The Mrs has agreed that she will come with me & the boy ( 3 and a speed freak !), as long as it's family orientated, do many 'families' turn up at previous meets - will be shot if it's all just owners and chat about cars. - Might have to lace a few brews for her .

See U 17th

Rob
