Any one up for another meet ? Nick hows the talks with Tiley`s going are they going to put anything on ? if not then would anyone like to meet at the usual place?

Sounds like the Tileys "thing" might be off for now.
Another meet at the Star sounds good, Bob could "hop" along with his old banger. Suggest a date that your not working.
Maybe, just maybe we could look at arranging another Exmoor, these brakes are just bedding in nicely .....

Yes I'm up for a bite to eat at the Star. The car should just make it to there. Don't think it will make Exmoor just yet, but I'm certain it will in a few weeks time. Hehehe.

 

Don't even think about exmoor at this time of year. I went to Lynton and Lynmouth this week and the traffic up over exmoor was horrendous. Average speed was about 25-30mph! with all the tourists hugging each others bumper.

Pub meet would be good though.

Another South West pub meet sounds good. When is good for you lot?

Exmoor is an idea. Minus point is waaayyy too much traffic this time of year - unless we do it really early. Plus point... and this is a BIG plus point... is that we could all take it in turns to p**s all over Bob in his latest rocket car. Maybe see how many times we can lap him?

How about Sunday 20th August ?
Usual format, 12 Noon for lunch or 1pm for natter etc. Hopefully the weather will be kind so we can sit outside.
Exmoor, I was thinking maybe we could start to look at a drive for maybe late Sept or early Oct, at least then all the holiday traffic should be finished. We could still start reasonably early and get out before all the trundlers.
Bob, what did you mean by Hehehe ? in a couple of weeks time.

Bob is going to have to eat a lot of humble pie in a couple of weeks time he`s getting one of those link thing as he calls them . Along with a few other items , I`m sure he will have great delight in telling us all about it at the meet .

20th will be fine for me I`m on holiday then , will try not to turn up with a hangover this time . Nick , no licking the plate this time

Exmoor in October will be the way to go I think. September can still be busy.
