Question

Im going to be attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed again this year and wondered if anyones had more thoughts on going down for the Friday?

This was posted a couple of weeks back and there were a few people fairly interested.

Ditto RON.

I have my Friday ticket and will be getting there quite early (8am).

Anybody want to convoy from the A3 at Hindhead?

Yeah myself and another scoob will be travelling up on Friday morning but will probably arrive about 11AM. Perhaps we could meet somewhere inside.

Cheers

Chip.

I was planning on going on the Friday but haven't got tickets yet. While searching the Goodwood site for ticket info and phone numbers, I came across this programme for the festival. It loos like there isn't as much stuff going on Friday as there is on Saturday and Sunday. I went Saturday last year and it was a great day, although pretty busy. Now I'm in a dilema about whether I should go on the Friday or the Saturday!

Mark,
Go both days if you can. Friday is much quiter but is great for looking around the paddock as its a lot quiter then . Saturday is very busy(grandstand recomended) and Sunday is probably sold out anyway.

Mark, Chip ... for info:

I've phoned today on behalf of a friend and booked tickets for the Sunday .... there are still tickets left but not for the Grandstands. Tickets for Saturday are £16 each and Sunday £27 each!

Right, I'm definately going on the Friday now. I can't make Saturday too. I'll be travelling from the Fair Oak (Hampshire) area, probably after 9 to avoid traffic.
