karting event.... what are the events looking like in april??????? i know may is busy

Here's some info about the trackday at Elvington in York, 9th April is the proposed date.
It's £200 each and when I questioned the price this is the reply I got.......
Open Pit Lane Track day, spend as long as you want/can on track and then join the queue... you know the score.
upto 15 cars on track at any one time.
the money made goes towards:
* exclusive hire of track.
* fully catered for lunch. and refreshments available on the day.
* instructors wages.
* Ambulance/safety crew's wages.
The day will be run pretty much as the majority votes.
The proposal is to have a section of the track cut off where we can have instructors help people learn car control. stuff like drifting, j turns, launch controls etc... hopefully we can squeeze in a 1.4mile track in too
I hope all of the above justifies the pricing.
The Karting will probably be on a Saturday afternoon/early evening, again give me your thoughts.
