That has got to be the biggest let down ever - whats the point of taking all those pics from the roof when none got used? And as for the editorial....The comment on the picture on p143 is just in very bad taste...

 

What a load of pooh. 2 pages of girls with the odd Scooby thrown in. At least there is a small pic of mine in there

 

The most annoying thing is that they kept us hanging on for months saying what a big feature it was going to be & they had trouble choosing the pics - then all we get is 3 pages - they probably only had trouble choosing pics because there were not alot of half naked ladies in them

 

Unfortunately the only reason that these magazines sell so well is because they have half nakid chicks in them. Just the way it's got now ... sex sells. Take away the girls and they would have a quarter of the distribution that they have now! Max Power show is now about having your pic taken with girls, not about cars at all!! If places like Spearmint Rhino are going to these shows then you know it's not about the cars!

O.k I get a very nice pic of My car slashed acrooss the Centre fold, But this meet was about All of Us We had a great Turn out all the Scoobs looked great & Everyone done as they were asked.

Where are the Pic's from the Dutchouse? The one where they were all around the Wall ? Must of been a cracking shot that, Was on my Poxy little camera

What about Coolhand Tim Arranged all the meet, Was a lot of hassle i know helped Him with some of it,, The poor guy dont even get a ******* Pic of his car anywhere ( Gutted for ya m8)

Yep just bought EVO magazine.....TSL333 came out well.

 

I was looking forward to seeing us lot in fast car, especially as that was my first event in my scoob, what a load of crap, I think my 5 year old daughter can write a better review, total waste of money, oh well, as a little consellation, there is a pic of me and James standing behind Pele's car, still crap though.

This was so long ago I'd forgotten to stop looking each month!
Sounds like lots of people in here were expecting something in FastCar to be good.
Haven't seen it but I get the feeling it's a bit **** in more ways than one, per what Lee said.
Of course the write up was crap - normal feature articles in those mags are a few EXTREME CLOSEUPS of a neon wheel nut and two paragraphs printed at an angle in text the same colour as 80% of the background saying "Daves blinging Saxo has been lowered 8000feet to improve handling with a bolt on tail pipe thingy to make it look bigger"

Still, it did get more than 4 cars to Dutch House that time round!!

 

Think I'll stick with the best place for advice, reviews and show info......Scoobynet and SIDC
The membership fees are well worth the money and are cheaper than the magazines

 

And we can buy Playboy for some REAL pictures
