You can't do much wrong by coming down to the Dick Turpin pub meet on the A127, here you'll meet people like Tiny and flat four club and Pele (to mention only a few) who organises a lot of events.

The Essex crowd are well known for their active social calender & their friendly nature.
Keep an eye out here in "Southern" & look for anything that mentions "Essex Boyz" or "Posers" or "Tunnels" or "Southend" or "BBQ's" or "Flat Four" or "Halfway House".As well as the two meets mentioned by Dave above there are several other things on the go already.
