Hi Steve
Gina and I are both in S Oxon and we have a Scoob each. Like you I see quite a few Scoobs about although only about half wave. I will join your Yahoo group tonight when I get home.
For a few months now I have been thinking about trying to get a Scoob meet going in Oxfordshire and was thinking about volunteering to be the SIDC rep for Oxon. At the moment Gina and I usually go to the Herts meets in Redbourne which is about an hour's drive away and is well attended.

Yahoo_SCOOOBY_site_Sux's
http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/SCOOBY_SOX/
this URL is as much use as a choc' tea pot
I just had a really good idea, once in a lifetime movement. LOL
what about us all meeting at the Acorn Bicester or Tesco car park then off to the Trout Wolvercote (big car park) and back to the holiday inn on the pear tree round about for tea, again big car park and very central to most.
We can sort opening times and do it on a Sunday afternoon
sort of a three centre cruise meeting.
Please put it forward and see what the others think M8

Another benefit of Stanton St John is that there are some great driving roads out that way - so it gets my vote.
We need to arrange a date to meet far enough in advance for it to be free for most people. Also if it is at a weekend it will be less busy on a Saturday lunchtime than a Sunday.

just as a word of warning, there's something at the pear tree shell station that interferes with the remote for my car there. I've had problems on more than one occasion!

Like all good meetings, do you think we should have an agenda, if Steve is in agreement can I put forward this, so we can all have a think before hand.
1. How often should the club meet.
2. Best days to meet week days or week ends Saturday or Sundays, lunch or evenings.
3. Do we want to meet for lunch or dinner.
4. To we want a Cruise before the meeting, perhaps some local favourite roads can be put forward with routes suggested at the club meetings.
5. Procedure for decision making and setting up voting on the yahoo web site.
6. Do we want to meet up before attending larger national meetings and cruse together
7. Promotion of the club and the intention of non Impreza or other performance car owners attending.
8. What do members think about trips out together to perhaps to the seaside, in the summer?
9. Do we have a Register of club members, I take it Steve has a list of website authorisations.
What do you think Steve, Scooby_SOX it’s your Club?

You confuse me 555 (not hard really) you mention Whitney, but your profile says Aylesbury LOL But hey, if you work in Whitney, isnt that a good enough excuse to join the club
Points taken onboard Ajax, Ive commented on them in the group messages.
Lemmy, we are still ironing out things as you know, so we will get organised in the end hopefully LMAO
wooohoooo my NTHell engineer turned up today, and I got the net back
