**Sh1te I meant Festival of Speed, not Festival of Festival lol,


Hi all,

Thought Id try and organise a convoy for those going down to Goodwood Festival of Speed on the SUNDAY

A27 will be packed so i was going to suggest somewhere on the A286, that way anyone coming from the North can hook up too.

Dont know what time yet or exactly where, open to suggestions.

This may prove a good point - just outside "Cocking" er Mrs http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...x=24&down.y=20 car park

how about 8.30 at the above URL? If you click the link and zoom out a little youll see its just South of Midhurst and looks to be a car park next to the road.

 

Could meet there.

I will be on the M25/M1 junction prolly at about 7am.

Gentle cruise down to Goodwood.

Think I'll get to that meeting point at "Cocking" before 8.30am
though.

Defo aiming to get there before 9am, when all the runs up the hill start.

 

I think the gates open at 7:30 - I would advise to get there at this time. It does get extremley busy

hi to all
is there any confirmed meeting points for sunday morning

 

We'll now be going in my red MX-5 as the black scoob (see pic above) got shunted up the rear tonight and is now off the road and out of action (see post-shunt pics here ) so even though I'd love to join your convoy I'd probably not be able to keep up

Just gonna take a leisurely drive down instead via the A roads with the roof down catching some rays so if you see a red MX-5 with smiley stickers in the windscreen that's me and Chris

It was all just a cunning ploy to get Sal to drive down there. Unfortunately, she will now have to suffer my navigation skills LOL
