Had a good day and only used half a tank of fuel. Just looked at my pads and they are down to the metal, looks like new disks are also needed. Looking forward to the next one when I might have a bit more power and will be able to go faster.

Yes we had a good day too, my pads and disks are fine, don't know what you mean, lol. Must be the way you drive it.

I thought I saw a missile about 8.45 going down M5 this morning. It flew past me.

Damm, I forgot to pick up a lamb for tea.

Cheers.

Tarcy? Who the hell is Tarcy? lol.

No probs Rob, it was a good day, glad we were able to help you out.

Nice pics too.

Btw that really says something about my driving then, you were obviously so relaxed on the way back to be able to take pictures, not so stressful in my car was it? Cruising.

Cheers.

Dave/Ian, Put a camera in front of 'em and what happens ..

Was that my P1 on the left that looks like a load of poooh is coming out of the exhaust ?? Probabaly Ians, come to think of it !!

As i'm almost computer illiterate, i've e-mailed the pics I took. Can't do that posting 'em up stuff. If anyone wants them, then send me a mail. Bob, I don't think I have your up to date e-mail address?
Didn't think the moving shots came out too bad, especially Nozzer coming past !!!!!

want can I say...what a great day!!! Thanks to Steve for doing a great job of leading made it seem easy. Haven't had so much fun for ages..Although it has made me realise that I need to upgrade my brakes sooner rather then later....seeing a P1 brake into a corner is an awesome sight...
Nozzer, great sounding car bloody fast as well!!!!
Ian are you going to reveal who you are on scooby net now???

Bob, nice car..think the sonic boom on the M5 southbound was a little excessive...think Nozzer's flameing idea may be more within in my reach!!!s hanging down on the left hand side having lost the bolt on route...look at the pic of the wagon on the motorway and you can see it hanging down..so next time with anti roll working properly, new brakes, tyres and an induction kit the old girl should be a little more on the pace!!

Got back to see the bracket that holds the bush for the anti roll bar

oh and thanks for leting my estate car join in!!!

Dave

P.S. still think a night run somewhere has potential...wales anyone??

Dave,

Most of Dartmoor is covered by a 40mph speed limit!

Thumbs up

We comply to ALL the speed limits ie 30,40,50 built up areas bar none, this is essential for the run to be a success and is a rule we stick to rigidly, having said this, we look forward to the national speed limit sign

Well said Ian, agree completely.

I think I've done 9 official runs across Exmoor and probabaly a few unofficial recces. As Ian says we stick to the lower limits as breaking these really does p*ss people off and it's where the danger is. I think by doing this we end up with respectful glances/looks from people. I certainly noticed a few on this last run.

Well it was my first exmoor run and I was very impressed with the responsible driving shown..all speed limits were kept to within the built up areas and all we got were admiring or curious glances...then the national speed limit applies sign appears...

Even then I was impressed with the safe and considerate driving displayed at no time were other road users put at risk (well apart from the odd sheep and Ian's P1 when I nearly climbed in the back seat thru the boot). The only dangerous driving i saw was by 2 muppets ina 306 trying to play...pushing it to the limit and clipping a hedge...

The scoobs were a pleasure to drive with..oh and thanks steve for slowing down so that i could keep up..
