Mid week JAP meet near Brighton
#1
just a quick reminder.
There is a meet on Wednesday 28th of August at the Devil's Dyke pub.
so far there are about 15 people that are expected to show. the meet starts from 7 and will go on till the pub kicks out.
we have had interest form gtr's gtir's 200sx's few celica's and some others.. this is your invite!
directions are as follows.
Devils Dyke is about 3 miles north of the
centre of Brighton. If you are coming from the north take the A23
south towards Brighton. When you approach the end of the A23, stay
left and follow signs for Worthing A27. Once on the A27, stay left and take first exit off for Hove.
At the roundabout at the top, turn right over the A27 and then
straight on at the next roundabout towards Devils Dyke. Follow the road up and after about 400m, the road bends to the right, but DON'T FOLLOW THIS, go to the left of the fork ahead. Follow this road straight and yet again, the road will naturally go right at
90degrees, but still continue straight. This is a dead end with the pub at the top, you cannot miss it.
If you are coming from Worthing way, just take the Hove turn off and then follow the directions from there.
Please take it easy coming up the final bit of road cos it is
littered with rambler types/families and we could do without any
twatting about.
All are welcome and hope to see you there tomorrow.

was quite a good meet. nice location and quite a good turn out for a mid week meet.
about 20 odd cars and maybe 50 peeps.
no scoobys tho
there are some pics of it here, before a few of the other turned up.

from the response of all that went it looks like there is demand for another one in the near future. no dates or times as yet.. but with the eve's getting shorter and colder it might have to be soon. or we'll move to a weekend.

hey steve,
i am in brighton.. but also in reading..
i live in reading but spend most of my spare time in btn..
drive a pulsar..J reg, black, white alloys, dump valve and mongoose exhaust.. running about 280bhp. about in btn a lot!
wanted a scooby but couldnt afford a P1 so i went for an R cos a m8 of mine has got a P1 and i didn't want to be the 'slow' scooby
see you at the next meet down there? shouldn't be long.. i might organise one for sep some time..
