Hi Everyone,
As u can see by the time i'm posting this thread, only just finished work!!!! & what a week i've had!!Still, maybe Scoob doo is just gettin up to start bakin'!!!!
Alright for the rest of you 9-5'ers
Anyhow, with regards to having an"evening meet",next week's not lookin too good for me as i've lots of early starts(am),so by the time we've met up(7pm)i'll be havin to think about headin back home again.(boring b**strd i know).
Only possible night may be Wednesday, depends what time i have to start next day.Is this too short notice for you all????
The plan was to meet at Sainsbury's Marsh mills at 7pm,drive up on Dartmoor & have a pint & a yap at the"Plume of Feathers" pub Princetown,(by Dartmoor Prison)for those of you who don't know????
How does this sound????
Let me have some feedback.
We can arrange this if enough of you interested,i'll just have to leave maybe a bit earlier than the rest of you. !!!!

Hope you all enjoyn Bank hol.& sunny weather!!!
Cheers Duracell

Hi, Mark here - STi 7,

Your not the only one working late - the joys of being self-employed!!!

My deadline is Tuesday - so, as long as all goes to plan I might be out on Wednesday evening...

I'll be there just let me know when.

Might be better to wait a bit as Eagle7 said. The more of us the better!

Hi Everyone,
Not good for me this Wednesday after all,got to get up 03.30am next day(duty calls),so as there aren't many of us at the moment that can actually make it,probably best to take a rain check for now & arrange again in a week or two, thus giving more notice to hopefully attract more of you.
Soz for those that could make it,but watch this space & i'll post again later with another date
Not yet sure whether i can make Finlake or Exmoor but as soon as i know, will post !!

Meantime,Safe"SCOOBY'N"to you all !!!!!

P.S Do any of you know exactly where these Black & Green wires are located under steering & dash coz i need to find them so as i can try something to try & sort out this Boost problem i'm having?
Scoob doo i think you may know??? If any of you do & can spare the time to show me i would be most grateful...
....Cheers Duracell

P.P.S The wires i'm after are so i can connect up in"test"mode & get the Boost solenoid to work,i think they are the same ones for re-setting the ECU????

this what you are after?

To reset ECU:Connect the test mode and read memory pairs of connectors, greens and blacks. Found around the same area by the steering colunmn under the dash.
Ign On
CEW is on.
Full throttle then release to half for a couple of seconds and release completely.
Start engine.
CEW shows fault code. Confirm fault.
If no trouble code drive normally at over 11kph for several mins until engine reaches normal operating temp.
CEW will show fault code or OK=.5sec regular flashes.
Ign off and disconnect two pairs of connectors.

Hi,
I'm moving down to Cornwall near Launceston in the next 8 wks or so would probably want to meet up with some fellow enthusiasts. Just sold the current scoob but will no doubt get another once I'm down and settled.
It would be good to be shown the area etc.

One question that you guys could help me out with though. Currently work for Nokia/ Sanmina as a prod manager in telecoms. Can any of you shed some light on prod businesses in the area such as Plymouth or Exeter etc. Doesn't need to be in telecoms.
What's the overall employment like there.
I'm living in Surrey at the moment but just couldn't resist selling up with the prices so high here and buying a great 18month old property there and really having a complete life change, work etc. Risk I know but what's life with out risks!!

Your help will be much appreciated. Email if you can.

Cheers
Iain
