Just to let anyone know that there is an American car meet at the Dick Turpin public house on the Southend-bound carriageway of the A127 between the Basildon and Chelmford exits if anyone is interested .......... I have heard that during the summer months it is held EVERY wednesday and I have seen several other scoobies in the car park on different weeks . They get lots of souped up Yanks , and from what I heard from a mate of mine, a Chev that was there last week was able to do 0-165 mph(?) in 8.5 secs

If anyone can make it ........ I'll be there anyway.

The Chevy 55 Bel Air that oyu talk about did a 0-60 run in 2.6 seconds at Donny South show @ North Wield last sunday!
