I'm not posting an opposing view to try and change anyone here. If you want to have a different view, that's fine by me. What makes me laugh are the people on the sidelines ready to come in and label me whatever.......gay/beaten by some feminist wife......just because I happen to think a statement and post is wrong and I disagree with it.

But nobody cares, that's the point. I cannot stand football, but I don't go trolling every single football related thread in the sports section because it would be a pointless action and I'd just be trolling for the sake of it. I also respect the fact that the guys who talk about it do so because they enjoy it......who I am to question that? And to be honest, I have better things to do with my time rather than sit there commenting on threads I have no interest in - like commenting on threads I AM interested in.

I wasn't trolling though, I just had a different point of view about a thread..........you are the one that decided to "spend/waste your time" making up nonsense about the reasons why I was posting.............what was it now? guns and a feminist wife or some weird ****..............

Nail on the head for me. Well put.

I like women yet I still have Gay friends. I have no issues with race or religion and have no prejudices. I appreciate that no 2 people in this word are the same and others see the world differently with different beliefs. Some may get offended by comments that others innocently make, but this is life and if I've offended anyone, then sorry for my actions/comments.

As said above though, there are lots of things I do not like and it makes my life far easier just to ignore these things and concentrate my time and energy into something I do like instead. Positive attitude!

There is always someone unhappy. This person is nearly always my wife apparently!

I still think Donald Trump is a complete tool. The end.

I'm totally sure it doesn't. 20 years ago Rachel Riley would've been 11.

"20 years ago" is a phrase known as a figure of speech........that means not taken literally.........but feel free to moot stupid points on Rachel Riley's age....the banality really sums up the poor quality of the retort.

That's not a figure a speech, it's a simple statement and an irrelevant one. Do as others have suggested; if you don't like the thread subject then leave it to those that do.

Glad you saw the funny side Fab, as I was beginning to think you had less of a sense of humour than me (and that takes some beating) !

I don't get the Vorderman thing, some of you must be easily pleased. Rachel Riley now that's a different ball game altogether

Back in the day when everything was black and white and it was cool to smoke Joan Bakewell was known as "the thinking mans crumpet"

Holy good god.

I'd clear your browsing history pretty feckin quick if I were you, unless of course you were browsing incognito - which is advice if you weren't

Should be fine, it was one of RS_Matt's personal "holiday" pictures. Hope he doesn't mind me posting it on here.
