Accordng to this weeks Autosport, FHI have intimated that they will be announcng the 'MY08' earlier than planned, in April this year. Supposedly this is to allow SWRT to run the new-shape car in WRC, since the S12 isnt going terribly well at the moment. the MY08 will be available in Japan initially, with eupropean unveiling in the autumn, pretty much as expected

 

Just a quick note to stop a mis-quote turning into an Internet truth, I think you'll find the 08MY is being shown in April in New York but the cars won't be available (N/A only) until just before the end of the year with turbo to follow

I think i may well hold on before buying a hawk eye if the new one is just around the corner

Unfortunately a "New" Impreza is released every year so maybe you should buy one now so you at least have the "new" model for at least a year before it is out of date.

You will have the same problem with the MY08 because the MY09 will be "just around the corner" and so on and so on.
