Due to ingress of water through the little airvent on the left side of my boot, i`m going to have to remove the rear bumper so that i can silicone around the vent and stop the water (seems to be getting past the sponge for some unknown reason)

Whats the best method??

Defently the vent thats letting the water in, so it`s gonna have to be the bumper

Cool

Just incase anyone does a search in the future.

* Three large bolts in box section under rear body, each side of spare wheel bay, undo all six(two of them hold the rubber mount for the exhaust).

* 6mm bolt at bottom of bumper just behind rear wheel.

* Plastic screw at top of bumper just behind rear wheel, wouldnt unscrew on mine so i just prized them out with large flat screwdriver

After removing all the above, and disconnecting the rear number plate lights from just inside the boot, the rear bumper can now be pulled backwards, away from the car.Easy! ( but not in the dark when i first looked at doing the job )
