Having owned the UK300 lights and JDM HID it would be the later evertime.
The reflective surfaces of the HELLA Prodrive lights are quite poor even with uprated bulbs.

TT1815, yes was aware of JDM v Bug. I was just curious if historically any of the Bug specific lights out performed the other. I could very well be wrong but don’t think there is a JDM Bug light. Correct me if I’m wrong by all means. Have a Prodrive Bug & the lights are poor, was considering my other options.

JDM HIDs or retrofit HIDs are your only realistic options. The Bug lights are appalling with filament bulbs.
3rd set, but if you fancy giving away either of your others give me a shout lol, could do with some new headlights that better suit my car but skint haha.
