Still once it’s done it’s done, all secured with stainless bolts and properly greased as well. Now the filthy girl needs a cleaning I think.

I had oem ones on the rear (factory fitted I assume) and nothing on the front, and they were rubbish. They have little pockets on them that collect crud and stones and as soon as you go over a pot hole or bump it all jumps out at the car behind.
In the end I went for minis from Scoobyworld.com
Now there on I quite like them.

Got the new stereo installed and all set up with my phone, just get in the car and it automatically connects to my phone and plays my music, exactly what I’ve been after. I may adjust the brackets and drill new holes to it sits perfectly flush with the facia one day but for now I hardly notice.

It’s a nice simple unit that just does it’s job well. Just need to set up the microphone for hands free calling now as I forgot about it, then it’s finished

Headlights polished, much better finish this time.
Dipped beam bulbs replaced with Philips X-treme Vision, should have been a 20 minute job but ended up taking much longer as the passenger side bulb cover would not come off. Grrrr
These should come as standard on the sti’s
wow what a difference in pedal feel shame it’s under the intercooler so can’t really be seen but a pretty easy yet effective mod - upgrade
Kw variant 3, with 22mm front and 24mm rear whiteline ARBs. Also replaced the bushings and mountings plus OEM bolts for the lot. Full alignment with “fast road” set up.

Lefty its known that the iridiums arent great on subaru's. Stuck with platunum they last longer and probably perform just as good or better
I did an oil change, changed my spark plugs, a pair of number plate bulbs, moved the number plate lower as it couldnt be seen on the rear and gave her a wash
Thought i would take advantage of the last £1 listing day and put the wheels up for sale, sold them for £400 literally within twenty minutes. The guy drove 2 hours to pick them up. Should have listed them for more!
For my Winter fun, I've got a set of Goodrich braided hoses, and rebuilt the calipers. Disc have been blasted clean of rust (not been using the old girl) and also I've cleaned off the rust on the backplates and painted them with black zinc paint.
New BC-ZR Struts fitted, just need to make brackets up for the gas bottles that are attached with hoses to the top mounts. Loads of new bolts all over the underside.
Next job is a new Timing Belt kit and then I might even get it off the stands and drive the old thing.

I thought it would be pretty straight forward, but i think i might have the wrong kit for my model. Does any body have a pic of one fitter to a classic. I have the Tegiwa kit.
