Default Car cuts out randomly but then fires back up

I've recently just had a 2.1 fitted in my blob sti 2004 and now it keeps cutting out randomly. It does restart and drives well. I've checked over all the electrical plugs and noticed 1 pin to the crank sensor was loose so I've replaced the crimp pin. I thought I had fixed it as I've done just under 20 miles without it cutting out but then today it did it a few times within a short distance.

When it cuts out it's like the ignition has been turned off.

Abit about the car;

Alcatek Ecu,
2.1 cdb
Big ports with super tech valve train
Sc46
340lph pump
Id1000 injectors
Rcm induction kit
Revolution exhaust
Rcm gt spec headers
Trick up pipe
4 bar map sensor
3 port boost solenoid
Fmic

I'm thinking either an immobiliser issue or crank sensor issue. My local auto electrician can't get it in until the new year to have a look.

Car doesn't respond to code scanners with the Alcatek fitted.

Any ideas of possible causes I could check before? Thanks

Had this before and it was the earth on top of the inlet manifold, the 12mm headed bolt was loose.

Thanks. Just checked and it's tight. When I put the Engine back in I did miss the earth off the starter and thought that was the problem but it didn't make a difference once fitted. Might try a cross bond though as the inlet manifold is powdercoated and I have inlet spacers on.

They look okay, is there a way of testing the sub fuses or is it more a replace and see?

They can be checked for continuity with a multimeter as can the fusible link,I have heard of them testing out ok when cold tho so not sure tbh.
Have you got a cable to link up with your alcatek to datalog?

No I haven't. Mine doesn't have the fusible link wire just the main fuse.

Just a quick update. It's booked in on Thursday to have the immobiliser checked by the auto electrician. had a look around to make sure it wasn't anything obvious, when I had the engine put together I had it painted along with a few brackets powder coated etc to tidy things up. Also I have the inlet spacers fitted. Checked all the earths and were all fine and intact, I've since added an extra earth to the block and nearly 60 miles later it has been fine. So fingers crossed it has cured it. Il report back when the immobiliser has been checked and a few more miles are on it.
