Default ENGINE MOUNT ISSUES - IN GARAGE - URGENT

I bought some engine mounts after the assurance they would fit my Hawkeye, 2.5 STI 06..

The hard race from below..

Now the car is in the garage, and they are saying they are the wrong mounts..

Are they?

Can't you get the plates for the new mounts to fit them?

the only difference in mounts is the gearbox mount between 5 & 6sp cars. the engine mounts are all the same fitting. They are sided so is it possible they are trying to fit RH to LH side and vice versa

does this pic help?

Cheers Gambit,

I can see that they are the right ones. Ive told the garage that a few times today, lol... But i can also see how they are saying they don't fit...

So am i right in saying, going of the blue prints, i have the round mounts and to get the hard race to fit, i need parts 13, 12 and 15?

You reuse the mounting plates from the oem mounts, you shouldn't need to purchase anything extra.

Not sure if these do the plates separate. That's all that's needed

Are the plates a standard universal size then? Comparing the blueprint round mount to the bracket mount, they look different sizes... sigh...... don't wanna chuck anymore money if it's not going to be right...

thanks for the replies folkes

The plastic ones that were on my 2006 STI snapped aswell so I put the normal type ones on, bought a second hand set from a hatch STI with the plates and they fitted no problem.
