Default Next Prime Minister

For me it has to be a pro leave Englishman.

The stand out has to be Jacob Rees- Mogg.

Not that they'll deliver on policy BJ or Theresa May for me. Said it for the last year and bookies favourites incidentally.

Boris as the 'captain' of this ship would be a definite way to sink it. The guy is an idiot and not capable of leading anything never mind the country.

I like him. But we can't have a PM who lives in the 1950s

Barack Obama will be free soon. Might be able to get him on a free transfer?

Ain't dat de truth brother

I reckon that chap who told the cops to F Off when he tried to take his bike along Downing St. Ex-International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell would fit the bill although I don't know his Europe views. But I expect Teresa will be the sensible choice but I wouldn't vote for her personally. Or a Hague comeback?? A radical move would be the new woman Scottish Tory leader - very impressive in the EU debate/s I thought. She would rattle a few cages and didn't go to Eton

I also reckon the beleaguered Labour Party could turn the Corbyn farce into success assuming there will be a General Election in a year or so. They should bribe David Miliband to return and take over. It's what folk wanted anyway until the unions muscled in and supported Ed.

Just random thoughts at the end of a very depressing week.

I think Theresa May is our best option. I think negotiation of the exit requires an authoritative statesman and/or the delicate touch of a woman who will not have the testosterone fuelled bravado of the likes of Boris.

Well, I heard on the news that someone said a woman candidate would have to be considered, so it wasn't sexist. ok.

We also need candidates from every race and religion, so it can't be seen as racist.

We need a disabled candidate too.

or ............

Just put Boris in, and let him get on with making Britain great again. Sorted.
If he f*cks it up, that's what elections are for. Oh no, wait. Elections are un-democratic. When your side loses anyway.

If he 'f*cks up' then it's too late to do anything about it.
Putting BJ anywhere near these negotiations would be extremely foolish.

Theresa May is the sensible choice.
And Yvette Cooper when Corbyn gets booted out.

Common sense is in short supply at the moment though.

Boris Johnson would just sum this place up nicely at the moment.

Iain Duncan Smith would be my choice. He's an honourable man and was prominent in the leave campaign. Or Owen Patterson, who was also a leave man and knows how to get things done.

Why are people happy with an unelected prime minister?

Up roar when we ended up with Gordon Brown, so why is it now okay?

I'm not, and I definitely DO NOT want a female PM or leader of the opposition.

The last Tory female PM has still left a nasty taste in the working man's mouth, and there's not much scarier than a female lefty.

Stephen Crabbe might be a good long shot if the Tories could hack someone with a good working class background. David.
