Lm420 turbo oil feed, what's required

Default Lm420 turbo oil feed, what's required

Ok so I now have a lm420 I cannot fit as yet due to needing the oil feed set up but I'm wondering what's required...

Obviously I need the oil feed, but read on another post that I may need a restricter.... Are they set sizes ? In terms of restricting or is there a specific size I need.

I may call litchfield but the kit they have includes waterpipes which I dont need but doubt they will split the kit.

Any help would be great

I don't know about what you need, but I have x2 new ones here in 2 screw sizes for the block newage avcs/non avcs I think as both are different sizes maybe?
One from blouch turbo and other universal. Got some fittings with it too see if you can make up?

AVCS joins block at yellow arrow,

Try to get an oil feed to fit where red arrow connects,

Ineeded one of these

Id guess the one on the left, one end on where red arrow in my pic other to the restrictor in turbo.

Can only hope the threads match,

I called up scoobyclinic and the send me one of those little adapter i posted earlier.
Got it next day too.

That was my setup,

Had to remove Banjo fitting where blue arrow points, and use the adapter.

There will be a direct fit i just couldnt find one.

If you find out what's needed we can make you one up, it is 12x1 at the block side.

We have male/male restrictors
Also banjo bolt restrictors in different sizes if needed.

Just been told that 100% need a 1mm restrictor

The one on left is a blouch one that cane with kit, and does fit the restricter pill on turbo and other end straight into that thread on head, couple of fittings with it for non avcs heads

Isn't there a restricter pill in turbo? That's all you need then and my line should do it.

You must be incredibly lucky, ive tried for info for my t20 and my lm450 for ages, they were not interested in it even though they built it, if it had been a gtr i was calling about then im sure things would have been different lol

You can just about to see the restricter pill if you zoom in fitted here, gold type screw in threaded both sides.

Mine has AVCS.
2003 Sti.

I hadto buy the adapter as my oil feed wasnt the same thread.

After a little bit of a chat with litchfield this afternoon they advised me they don't have the oil feeds so I would have to source else where,...... I think ! Someone told me the entry on the LM was the same as the gt30 and came across these feeds on eBay that I've posted above, I guess the avcs bit will be sound it will just depend on wether it will fit the restricter... On the plus litchfields do have the restricter a in stock lol

Yarp, saw the turbo variations just don't no how it makes a difference to the oil feeds hmmmmmm

Ball bearing has a small restrictor.
As they take less oil.

You require the ball bearing.
