Default Misfire. Wiring for Clifford Blackjax 5

I have a misfire and am wondering if it is due to this wiring patch to the blackjax.
2009 Hatch impreza STi.

Got this anti hijack unit fitted by dealer.

2 wires taken off plug 3 coil pack loom.
GREY wire ( middle ) goes to a black wire ...
and
Yellow ( left, by release clip ) goes to a brown wire on blackjax.

One ( brown ) wire goes to the alarm sounder unit, the black one stops dead .. is not used.
(No idea what goes to the alarm module or from where!)

Question is - should the black wire ( from the coil pack middle grey wire ) go anywhere?

Is it interfering in normal spark etc. if a wire is missing a connection.

Continuity of wire to coil seems ok, and to the Clifford wires too.

Any ideas?

Cheers

They went bust 15 months ago!

Out of warranty anyway, and I don't think they had the annual Clifford checks done anyway.
