Clifford Alarm
My hawk Sti that I've just recently bought has 2 led units built in too the centre console 1 at each side, these both have Clifford writing on them, my car does not have a Clifford fob with it and is locked using only the button on the standard key, so will this be operating the Clifford alarm or should I have a separate fob, how can I find out if it has the Clifford alarm still fitted and if so what model it is and how to operate.

Remove the panel see if there is a loom attached, follow it, in your car main areas to check for are behind glovebox, udder drivers/passengers seat carpets, drivers side starring colom, also look at the ignition loom for black tape that's not factory, black fuse holders in the same loom, not hard to find the alarms are a black box with white stickers on, are the LEDs clear or red in colour and dish say you had 2 of them, also can u see 2 two button keypads 1 with a star and 1 plain, normally located in a blank or steering cowling

The 2 buttons are the keyboard from a Clifford Blackjax anti hijack system, and the lights are to show if it,s armed or in valet mode. It must be disconnected because you wouldn,t get very far if it was armed. If the lights were lit it would be in valet mode and you could drive it as normal. As I say it must be disconnected. Steve.

Right there G5 series Clifford now u should have another 1 of those 2 button pads somewhere, my guess is 1 was for a basic alarm like an arrow 5, the 2nd 1 might have been for blackjacks, an anti high jack system, after fitting Clifford for over 20 years that's theory reason it would be done, but for the price they would of fitted a cat 1 with blackjacks built in, so they may have wanted 2 LEDs lol, anyway, take the panel down drivers side and follow the loom from the valet switch, see where it goes,
