Clifford alarm identification?!
Hi guys, sorry to bother you all. I've just bought myself a bugeye WRX on an 02 plate, and it has a clifford alarm on it. The remote has 4 buttons... top left is a *, top right locks and unlocks, bottom left has head lamp pic on it, and bottom right has boot lid picture on it. only the lock/unlock button does any thing, there is a double button valet switch near my handbrake, and the interior sensor is a flat black disc near the window screen. I was wondering if any one had any idea to the model of it so i can get hold of some instructions?! Any help very much appreciated....please!

Hi,
It will more likely be a G4 series from the key fob buttons you described and to find out exactly what model it is you'll need to find the main brain of the alarm.
Also the double button switch near the handbrake is your valet mode switch. Used to dis-arm the alarm without using the key fob and you will need the 4 digit code supplied with the manual or receipt.

All cliffords that I have come across state series if applicable and model number. Only the wires are concealed to stop you by passing the unit and starting the car.
Here is a G5 unit

Here is a new model Matrix 12.5x

As you can see the model number is quite visible and the new units have more smaller writing.
