Default MY00 sigma alarm

Hi
Only had the car 3 days and been on here constantly lol
Its a uk turbo MY00
The remote locking has worked perfectly the last couple of days, but ive just been out in the car and came to lock it but the alarm arms and carrys on beeping.
Ive read it could be warm air floating around in car etc but surely the alarm shouldnt be that sensitive.
The keyfob says sigma AC-38 on it.
Ive had to lock the car using the key, is there a way of stopping this beeping so I can arm the car properly?

Thanks

Sounds as though a door/bonnet/boot is slightly open

I first thought that could be the problem and have triple checked everything is shut properly, but no joy

Sounds like a faulty push switch on either the doors, boot or bonnet, so even though they are all closed, the alarm thinks something is still open.

Do you have the alarm manual / handbook?

If so, you can use the Last Trigger Isolation mode to still arm the system, which will just ignore the fault, but you need to do this each time you leave the car

Thanks for the replies everyone
I will have a look at the solonoid, and I wasnt given the alarm manual when I bought the car. I will have to have a look around to see if I can find a manual from somewhere.
