Hey guys , ahhh my clifford concept 300 is driving me mad !!! the alarm is going off when it wants to, but arming / disarming it doesnt stop it, even putting into valet mode, it just stops when it wants to, doesnt always chirp either , so i replaced the battery in the siren as thought this could have been the problem....alas no !!! any ideas ? thinking just faulty siren now ? difficult 2 replace , would i have to trace all way back to the brain or just replace the board in the siren ? cheers !
ahh ill have 2 check spose could b loose because does work sometimes and sometimes not although now have replaced battery and done enough driving to charge it up (siren battery) and still occasionaly chirpin....
yeh i will do but would that explain it randomnly goin off and then when its going off not stopping for love nor money !!!! ????
Unfortunately not... thats normally a bad connection. Check the plug where the siren cable connects to the main alarm control unit. it might just be loose..
hmm well checked all connections, all seem to be ok ! but no chirps ever even with new siren battery , so now just think siren !? but dont know how 2 get hold of another just 2 test !
Now spoke 2 motorguard and they advised def just replace alarm ! wont b siren !? any thoughts ? if i did , how easy is it 2 use the cliffnet wizard, copy settings and put in another brain ? would i need the installer version ?
