Question Anti Hijack

Since reading what happened to MY06 PPP Silver considering buying an Anti Hijack system for my UK Classic Turbo.
Just a couple of questions about them:

Which one would you reccomend?
Whats the average cost of having one fitted?
Would it cause any problems with the Thatcham Cat 1 Gemini alarm i already have fitted?

Any help would be appreciated

Clifford Blackjax is probably the best one around at the moment... it should cost £150-200 fitted and it shouldn't cause any issues with your cat 1 alarm.

You standard car alarm already has an anti hijack feature of sorts; you can configure the alarm so it locks the doors when you start the ignition.

If you want the functionality to disable the car should you be hijacked then Blackjax is the one to go for.

But to have BlackJax you have a Clifford alarm, something like Concept 650. I had a this on my Impreza and I loved it. Going to get it fitted on my new (old) Impreza.

A Blackjax antihijack system can be fitted independantly without a Cifford alarm.

If you are local to Manchester there is a great place in Stalybridge called 'Trilogy' owned by a guy called Tim that knows everything to do with alarm/security systems.

Indeed- works fine with the OE alarm and immobiliser! Costs about £200 if memory serves.

I've no idea mate; you'd need to get it fitted by a professional and it'll be set up right from the outset then.

If you say whereabouts you're from I'm sure someone will suggest somewhere local!
