Default TOAD AI606 prices

Hi,

The only place where I live that fits alarms is charging £340 to remove my standard alarm and fit a Toad AI606, is this a good price?

Thanks,

David

To enhance on 'Car Security Experts' reply.

I had the above alarm installed by Precision car alarms :-

Precision Alarms | Shopping

For the total cost of £269.99, they supply and fit the Toad alarm and remove the old alarm.

I was asked whether I wanted the Toad, or wanted a Viper alarm, as it can easily be updated etc via a laptop, and you can also diagnose problems etc also via a laptop. Seems a good idea, but I wasn't too worried on my Pajero, may get one on the car though, as it can have the pager system as standard as well.

Hope this helps

fitted mine myself and done a better job than an alarm fitter imo as i took the time to hide everything and made the connections well away from the steering column and all the normal places they like to join in to!

I used to supply & fit these for 220 never use to charge any thing for removing old alarms but everywhere else was charging anything from 250 to 300 just make sure your installer is vsib or your insurance may void your insurance

I'm in Basingstoke, Hampshire, I have booked in with precision alarms for £260 fitted, would you travel that far? Leeds is a long way!
