Default Clifford 300

Urgent help please .I locked my car using the remote,when i tried to unlock it the remote woulnt work.I unlocked the car with the key of course the alarm went off.I tried to turn alarm off using valet code but it wouldnt disarm it,the LED was flashing quickly.(I replaced batt in remote.)The valet code is correct.Can you help.Bob.

bet the metal retaining clamp for the battery has come loose resolder and it will work clifford usual problem for this style remote all it needs is a little movement and it breaks. normally when you change the remote battery.

did you have the ignition on when you put in the valet code

Thanks for your replies.

I checked the battery clamp and it had come loose but I put a bit of cardboard in the remote which held it down and it's been working fine.

Yes I did have the ignition turned on when I put in the valet code.

sounds like the valet switch has gone faulty happened to me an a concept 600 with black jacks
