Clifford gets my vote
but the installation is all down to the installer, you NEED one (an installer that is) with a very good reputation for installing these.

beats the crap out of all the other units you want the remote brake lock on it then try to move it you would need a simple alarm just to make the noise. you could even have a conversation with the thief lol. to many options to mention have a look.

every installer has their preference.
i served my time on clifford, sigma and cobra, but personally prefer toad for reliability.
A lot of problem with clifford i`ll admit are partly installer (if installed sloppily) but mainly 99% of the time its user error, with people fiddling with sensors etc.
my own car (rb5) still runs the sigma fitted from new (i probably fitted it for IM back in 99). My old dc2 the missus drives runs a fully specc`d clifford with all the toys.
the rest of my family all run laserline alarms, and i would fit a lot of toad, and thats what im fitting to my own project car (r5 gt turbo)
if you buy a branded mainstream alarm from a reputable company then it should protect your car sufficiently and be reliable
