Default Disklock or Bulldog wheel clamp?

I'm planning to buy either a Disklock steering wheel lock or Bulldog wheel clamp (the ones they sell in Halfords). Given that they are about the same price, what would people generally recommend as the most effective? Any advice much appreciated.

I already have an alarm and immobiliser, and I'm planning to get one of those gearstick / handbrake locks as well.

Disklok

Don't bother with the handbrake to gearstick ones, any idiot can remove those in under 10 seconds.

If you want a really good security device, look at Clifford's Blackjax system. Protects your car even if they get the keys

Yeah, as said, go for the disklok. These are a real good VISUAL deterent. I just bought a s/hand one (wouldn't know it was s/hand) from fleabay. Got a chrome finish one for £35 and picked it up to save on postage. Came with the 3 keys too. Bargin!! Might be worth looking at pretty much half price. Gearbox to handbrake locks aren't much use to be honest, pretty easy to get off.

That thread makes things a bit confusing. Some say small and others say medium.
So what fits a classic nardi steering wheel.

According to Disklok...

MEDIUM (39.5 - 41.5 cms)
LARGE (41.5 - 44 cms)

I still say that the OE alarm/immob combined with a Disklok and Clifford's Blackjax unit is pretty much all you'll ever need. A Dipol/Barrier deadlock is very good, but still relies on keys, and if they have them it's still bye-bye motor, whereas Blackjax can only be over-rided with the PIN or time-consuming rewiring.

BlackJax is Clifford's unique anti-carjacking response system that puts personal safety first while using innovative advancements to ensure that users can recover the vehicle themselves. If an armed car thief approaches - whether at a stop light or in a parking lot (where most carjackings occur) - immediately turn over the keys and remote and let Clifford technology take over.
Fully automatic: No buttons or transmitters to push when a gun is involved. Just get away from the vehicle. Quick response: BlackJax allows the criminal to drive away a safe distance. Then, a few seconds later, BlackJax blares the siren and flashes the lights to alert other drivers and witnesses. It then pulses down the ignition system to safely force the vehicle to slow to a complete stop. Siren blaring and lights flashing, unable to restart the engine, the carjacker has no choice but to abandon the vehicle.
Immediate vehicle self-recovery: With the vehicle immobilized a short distance away, the owner can recover it. No special tracking units, monthly fees or per-use charges. Just follow the sound of the BlackJax siren, then enter the PIN code. That's it - it's sabotage-proof. The only way to turn off BlackJax is with a secret user-selectable PIN code. If the carjacker tries guessing codes at random, BlackJax actively ignores his code entries for the next few minutes.
