clifford concept 300 remote probs
hey guys i got 2 fobs and they both seem 2 b playing up ! is this common prob? ive had 2 of these b4 and no probs, i know if batts are goin flat it beeps in a different tone to warn you, but to have both playing up seems bit weird....any suggestions would be good ! basically i can stand there hitting unlock / lock for 5mins to eventually .... "BEEP" and im in !
if its the 4 button remote in carbon the normally brake where the battery conection is soldered on tho the board you can usually tell buy taking the unit apart,or it should be the ariel for the alarm is self if its the long thin strip type
yeh tis the kind of remote u said about & re-soldered the buggers a few times...usually with good results , but wondered if any other solutions? u mention the aerial strip ? havnet got one attached to the alarm ..... ?
yes new ones are avalible but they do need coding into the alarm
the areil will either be a single strip of plastic stuck to the inside of the glass or similar area or a small sort of triangular shape with a thin rod out of it with a tip on it,not easy to hide
your alarm WILL have one or the other on it,the older type small thin strip about 5mm x 15cm did have a problem with the reciver board!i should know ive fitted enough of the alarms in my time
