question i have is a mate of mine has a Laserline cat 2 system on her car and her insurance company wants a Cat 1 system on - what is needed to meet the insurance requirements ?

is a full new system needed or can it just be upgraded - any advice welcome cheers

 

it can be upgraded using a cat 2-1 system. Most people would rather remove the cat 2 and fit a cat 1 in it's place. It means that you dont have to worry about using touch keys again. The cost difference is minimal.
