Default Alarm

Thinking about getting the Viper 480XV or 500 alarm fitted. Does anyone have any experience with these systems, good / bad?

I have a 500xv on my own car and have fitted hundreds of the 480xv's. The only downside is the size of the pager remotes. The 500xv is quite chunky but it's coolness makes you forget about its size. The upgraded version of the 500xv has a better battery in it so you can go for about 2 weeks before a it needs a recharge. It's no biggy as most people are used to charging their mobiles so this is just something else that you need to plug in before bed

Range on the remotes is really good. Up to 1000m
Feature wise the alarms are very similar to the Clifford Concept 650's

If there are any specifics you need to know about just ask.
